Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 教育行政與評鑑研究所教育行政碩士學位在職進修專班 === 101 === Abstract The purposes of this study were to investigate current situations of principal servant leadership and organizational climate of elementary schools in Taoyuan County, to analyze the divergence of principal servant leadership and organizational climate with different sample background variables, and to investigate the relationship between principal servant leadership and organizational climate. Finally, this study tried to verify these factors for prediction. Questionnaire survey was adopted in this study and 47 public elementary schools were selected according to manners such as stratified random sampling and simple sampling. There were 556 effective samples. On the basis of “Questionnaire of Principal Servant Leadership and Organizational Climate of Elementary Schools in Taoyuan County”, collected information was analyzed respectively by methods like descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation, and All-Possible-Regression Procedure. Based on processed information conclusions are listed below: 1. The current condition of principal servant leadership and the organizational climate of elementary schools in Taoyuan County were in the middle and upper level. 2. Sample with different level of education, job position, and school scale demonstrated significant difference in the recognition of principal servant leadership and organizational climate of elementary schools in Taoyuan County elementary schools. 3. Sample with different principals' gender and area of schools demonstrated no difference in the recognition of principal servant leadership and organizational climate of elementary schools in Taoyuan County elementary schools. 4. The level of overall the principal servant leadership and organizational climate in “supportive behavior on principals”, “supervisory behavior on principals”, “professional behavior of teachers”, “intimacy behavior of teachers” demonstrated above moderate correlation; “interferential behavior on principals” demonstrated moderate negative correlation; “alienation behavior of teachers” demonstrated low negative correlation. 5. The principal servant leadership has prediction to overall level of the school organizational climate of elementary schools in Taoyuan County. Based on the research results, the author provides feasible recommendations for the references to educational authority, elementary schools' principals, and future researches.
