Romero’s zombie films by its film style. In the beginning of the article, I, as the author, looked back the development process of the modern horror films, and compared Romero’s first zombie films Night of the Living Dead with the classic zombie film. Secondly, observed through the series of Romero’s zombie films, and found out the film form and style are affected by modern horror films and expressionist horror films; and further, presumed that the political allegory comes from the concentrate of the traditional horror film’s motif and social race, family, international relations. Eventually, I, as the author, discovered that Romero uses zombie films imply the problem of the development of American society and the international situation.
