| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 休閒運動管理學系碩士班 === 101 === This research aimed to explore the users’ perceived degree of importance and satisfaction toward the planning and management of sport facilities in Xindian Riverside Parks of Taipei City. Survey instrument was conducted to the local public who were using the facilities at Fuhe, Guting, Zhongzheng, Huazhong, and Shuangyuan Riverside Parks. Total of 400 questionnaires were administered, with valid 328 returned. Based on the data collected, statistical methods utilized for interpretation and analysis included descriptive statistics, t-test, Least Significant Difference (LSD), and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA).
According to the findings, five conclusions were drawn: 1. The users are mostly payroll-based employees and without specific residing location differences. 2. The users with higher social-economic status tend to more emphasize on the facilities and services. 3. The diverse facilities of the riverside parks attract the public participating in exercise and recreational activities. 4. Most of the users are not satisfied with the location and number of the portable toilets and trash cans. And 5. The quality of facilities and safety concern are the most needed items for improvement. In addition, based on the research results, several suggestions are presented for the administrative planning and operating management of the riverside parks and for future researches.
