The theoretical framework bases on literature review, we list three factors which will change the choice of clothing preference for woman (1) social status, (2) attraction, (3)group identify. The clothing will display separately by different ages in shopping malls, so we took the forth factor "age appropriate" under consideration. Age and clothing are inseparable, we divided women’s age into four groups (1) 18-25 years old, (2) 26-39 years old, (3)40-55 years old, (4) 56-70 years old. This study is focused on to figure out the relationship between four factors and four age groups. The study results showed that attraction is influential for ages 18-24, but for the elder group hold opposite view. Group identify is a strongly influence for ages 26-39, but for 40-55 year-old women prefer wearing unique clothes to ordinary one. 56-70 year-old women prefer to wear young looking outfit, but the other age group women think clothing should be consistent with their ages.
