Description
Summary:碩士 === 台南應用科技大學 === 應用設計研究所 === 101 === The earliest graffiti groundwork appeared in mid-late 1960s and is a heritage and extension of pop culture. Differently from pop arts, which express the thought and review for mass culture, graffiti arts are from urban mass culture directly. Along with the emergence of black cultural movement, graffiti arts became a vigorous new trend among the other arts in the world. The black man painted graffiti on the interior and exterior of the subway coaches initially. Afterwards, they turned to use subway to broadcast their voices and thoughts, or they wrote on the apparent walls to divide territories. A series of objections raised in the hippie movement were developed and have made a typical multicultural city gradually. For the adolescents in the new era, graffiti are not only a cultural trend but also a fashionable symbol since they are with artistic interest and a sense of freedom and wildness that belong to young people and embody cultures. Nevertheless, generally due to being in lack of creativeness while making graffiti, the students repeat to draw what they are familiar with. To understand the motives that influence the images and discuss the image creations under different situations, this study aimed to select junior high school students as the subjects for the graffiti image research. Through review of literature analyses, and topics and purpose of study, the “Corresponding Form between Junior High Students Survey Contents and Study Issues”, “Form for Outlining Interview Topics” and “Analysis Form of Junior High Students’ Campus Graffiti Works” were designed as study tools. The study analyses and results showed that the students inclined to relieve mood by graffiting, even destroying the facilities of the campus. Through interviews with the counselors of the counseling offices of the schools, it was attempted to figure out and explore the psychology of the students, which would be important reference for counseling. It was hoped to help through graffiti courses know the performance ways, techniques and tools and to guide and cultivate as well as raise the performing ability for graffiti. Moreover, there were relevant study recommendations submitted for reference.
