There are four parts in this research: 1.To analyze the theories and relative researches of teacher’s working stress and teaching effectiveness. 2.To study the status of teacher’s working stress and teaching effectiveness. 3.To analyze the differences between teacher’s working stress and teaching effectiveness among teachers with different background variables. 4.To submit conclusions and suggestions by sum up literature reviews and surveys. Literature review and questionnaire-The Relationship between Teacher’s Working Stress and Teaching Stress of Teachers at Elementary Schools in Taoyuan County Survey are used in this research. The subject is 405 teachers from 31 public elementary schools in Taoyuan County. Among 400 questionnaires, 387 effective, 13 incomplete or with missing value are received. The effective response rate is 95.56%. Conclusions are obtained as follows after doing SPSS 17.0 Statistics Software Independent Sample T Test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Test, Simple and Multiple Regression Analysis: 1.The elementary school teacher’s working stress is at intermediate level. 2.The elementary school teacher’s teaching effectiveness is at high intermediate level. 3.There is a significant difference on working stress among teachers with different marriage status, education level, job position, and the size of school. 4.There is a significant difference on teaching effectiveness among teachers with different education level, work years, and the size of school. 5.There is a negative correlation between teacher’s working stress and teaching effectiveness. 6.The teaching effectiveness can be predicted by examining teacher’s working stress.
