The National Development Council (2014) estimated the older population ratio will reach 20.0% at the year of 2025, it means every five people have an old, entering the "super-aged society.". As a result social structure changes, family function has been weakened, uclear family no longer can take care of disabled elderly. Moreover, medical and technological progressive rapidly, the average life expectancy longer,resulting in disease patterns shift from acute to chronic. To be able to get good care of the elderly at the end of his/her life, government, families and industry should work together. However, most of long-term care institutions is scale in Taiwan. How to improve service quality, better protection of the elderly living are the concerns of this research.
In this study, we will take the operating long-term care institution locate at the highest aging index of regional (referred to as the S institution) as an example. And uses model of PZB service quality to detect service quality for the institution. The concept of comprehensive customer (internal and external customers), using questionnaire to collect and analyze quantitative results to be measured.
