This research was conducted as a quasi-experimental design. Two classes of the fourth grade elementary school students(32) in Yunlin county were assigned to an experimental group and a controlled group. Both groups implemented twelve periods of teaching. The experimental group took the Creative "I-Ching" Cipher Cards of Game learning and the controlled group took a traditional instruction learning. The research tools adopted in the study were the Creative "I-Ching" Cipher Cards, and game learning on the effects of the "I-Ching" Cipher Cards,and the effectiveness of learning on the"I-Ching", the"I-Ching" learning retention and the "I-Ching"Multiple Intelligences. The participants were divided into two levels of high and low degrees. In the study,“Teaching method”, “ Learning ability” were taken as independent variables .“the Creative "I-Ching" Cipher Cards ” learning retention were taken as dependent variables. Pretest, post-test and postpone-test were conducted to examine students’ learning efficiency. The collected data were analyzed by t-test and two-way ANCOVA . According to the analysis from the experiment, the study had the following results and conclusions: 1. Students who accepted the Creative "I-Ching" Cipher Cards on the Game Learning to learn in teaching method assisted instruction made more prominent progress than those who accepted the traditional instruction learning in the "I-Ching" learning retention and the "I-Ching"Multiple Intelligences. 2. There were no significant differences in the "I-Ching" learning retention and the "I-Ching"Multiple Intelligences for the students with different learning abilities. 3. There was significant difference in the "I-Ching" learning retention for high level students between two teaching methods and low level students of the Creative "I-Ching" Cipher Cards on the Game Learning teaching method assisted instruction group improved more than those of the traditional instruction group. Bsased on the results of this experiment, some suggestions on the Creative "I-Ching" Cipher Cards on the Game Learning teaching method were discussed in the future study.
