The collaboration intention of different thinking styles was highly concerned, particularly with the factors such as positive thinking, negative thinking, and collaboration intention. In this study, the collaboration effects of focus on positive and negative thinking on the relationship between life experience, and studies and collaboration intention in college students were investigated. The particapants were 901 college students, between age range of 18~22 attending different departments in university of Science and Technology. The data were collected by using the scale of focus on positive and negative thinking, life experience, collaboration attitudes, and studies scale. The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 18.0 for Windows for Pearson’s product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. Implications of the findings for future research on thinking styles scale development and on the complex relationships among positive and negative thinking, life experience, and collaboration intention are discussed.
