碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 漢學資料整理研究所碩士班 === 101 === Since ancient times, scholars have passed down long history and indelible value of dietary culture by writing, to publish their diet taste, and reflect their emotions. Chinese dietary culture is not only part of Chinese tradition, but also represents the symbol of the spirit of Chinese art. In the process of human origin, evolution, and development, the primary material basis is diet. After thousands of years of cultural evolution, diet has been sublimated into an art type. And Lin Wen-yueh (1933～) has taking down life and presented the beauty of the art of living through dietary writing. From the cultural perspective, she inherited the thinking of traditional scholars’ concept of dietary culture. This thesis tried to study on Lin’s dietary writing through the clues of the time and space, and therefore gained Lin’s viewpoints and identification of the dietary culture. As for the space part, the researcher started from the perspective of the connection between the dietary experiences and geography to present the flavor of local emotions. As for the time part, the researcher presented the previous emotions about people and the meaning of life recorded by dietary. Lin mainly focused on the writing of her own dietary experiences, accompanied by emotional recording and inheritance from scholars’ dietary culture, which was the concrete practice of Lin’s dietary culture. This kind of writing expression fully showed the reflection of literati diet. This study explored Lin’s concept of dietary culture and implications of creation from cultural perspective. Then the connotation of dietary culture was concluded, which included human care and deep life wisdom.
