碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 創業管理碩士學位學程 === 101 === In today''s APP industry, new software companies are facing short product life cycles and rapid market change, which entails a quick and correct decision for the management team. The purpose of the study is to explore which decision factors are most critical and how they are associated with new product development process , The research employs the case study approach to identify the determinant factors. This research starts with literature review to search the potential decision factors and associated them with new product development life cycle, followed by intensive interview with JYT''s marketing manager and R&;D manager the cases of "bike community platform" and "ctgo!" . As a result, the research summarizes ten determinant factors, namely, consumers analysis, corporate positioning, competitor analysis, profitability analysis, project budgets, top management commitment, product uniqueness, risk considerations, the development of detailed project plan with the formal pre-production testing. The tendeterminant factors are mapped into 6 stages of the new product development life cycle accordingly. The research result can serve as a valuable reference for APP software companies operated in a highly competitive market.
