Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 工業工程與管理學系 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to explore the response capability of institutionalized elderly with wheelchairs toward Kinect game. The Kinect exergame design referred to Dr. Kawashima's Body and Brain Exercises. The game brought into two nursing homes and led by social worker. The gameplay metrics were collected by the game automatically. The gameplay metrics are GO success time, GO fall time, NOGO success time, NOGO fall time, score and response time. Results showed that GO success time, GO fall time and score can distinguish the player whose performance is better and pay much more attention. In the monitoring section, this is unable to find the relevance within the gameplay metrics, intrinsic motivation and observation.
