According to the literatures, bring patients solace and salvation through religion, art and natural environment attached equal importance to curing disease. Since evidence-based design improved how “Healing Environment” effect patients’ recovery, especially when artworks has been placed in medical spaces, could improved not only hospital environment but shorter hospital stays and better management efficiency. In Taiwan, the defective regulations and conflict between art and healthcare facilities systems revealed healthcare facilities neglect the importance of “Healing Environment”. This research first probes into the experiences of building art space with Healing Environment elements in foreign hospitals’ through different viewpoints that include the law side, management side and scientific side, in order to compare the current situation in Taiwan. Secondarily, study proceeds through case study research at Landseed Hospital that evaluates both management and effect on the art space in healthcare facilities. Finally, building up management principles for healthcare facilities in Taiwan to create art space with healing environment elements.
