Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防大學理工學院 === 化學工程碩士班 === 102 === The goal of this research is to decrease the output of visible light radiations, and promote the output of near-infrared radiations of grains. Therefore, the visual field of the night vision equipments could be improved and the position of firing and observation could be avoided to expose. This study is to develop the infrared grains for illuminating bombs, to explore the effect of the ratio of oxidant and fuel in grains on burning performance, and to find the optimal formula of the high concealment index and lower burning rate. The mole fractions of products were obtained by NASA Code. The thermochemical properties of grains were analyzed by DSC and TGA. Using the optical detective system and spectrometer, the burning effect of the grains was observed and the performance of the grains was evaluated. Finally, the Taguchi method was used to find the optimal formula. The results show that ratio of potassium nitrate and cesium nitrate have a great effect on concealment index, and the burning rate of the grain is decreasing, as the content of hexamine increasing.
