To enhance the rigidity, the characteristic of double nut ball screw is the oversize spacer installed between each side of nut, generating the effect of preload. The purpose of this study is to carry out the dynamic finite element method analysis of double nut ball screw with ABAQUS, which uses the formal module of ball screw that was imported to ABAQUS with the 3-D model generated by SolidWorks, defining the component con-tact and constraints in every part of screw. According to the dynamic simulation results, we could find the value of preload torque with stable constraint speed in screw system and infer the conclusion that correspondence between the simulation and experiment will verify the target of thesis. Based on the stability of dynamic simulation, we could construct the curve diagram of ball screw torque variation for the ball radius, nut offset , rpm and axial stress respectively. By means of the model of finite element method, which is stable, less time consuming, easy to adjust and could substi-tute for the high cost experiment, the text will focus on constructing the database measuring up to the actual motion.
