Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 土木工程學系碩士班 === 102 === It is common that women queues for the toilet. To friendly take care of each gender, building technical regulations have been amended several times, the ratios of female-male stalls have been increased by law from 1:1, 2:1, 5:1 or even made non-constant as the situation calls for. However, the quantity of men and women using public toilets change, toilet sets should be adopted by the concept of flexible space, designed to meet everyone's needs, maximize the use of toilet resources, and for gender friendly. In this study, we solve the problem of space conflicts due to gender by principle 01-segmentation, 03-local quality, and 15-dynamicity based on 40 Invention Principles of Triz. We provide flexible space and separate traditional toilets into three parts: male toilets, female toilets, and flexible space. Also considering the special needs of transgender people, on the base of Contradiction Matrix, we adopt Su-Field Analysis, machinery and electric field to design public toilets with flexible space and friendly gender. Ultimately, we got the proposal for flexible space and gender friendly by using TRIZ tool and gave it to architect for their reference.
