For long time, Taiwan Power Company plays an important role in economic development in Taiwan. However, recently, Taiwan Power Company becomes a viewpoint of press because of the institution of welfare and operation performance is not good. Main job surroundings of Taiwan Power Company belong to high risk surroundings. Thus, the expression of explores are higher than those of other companies. The purpose of article lies in that if there is any difference in job satisfaction and job retention of substation employees. We conduct this research by questionnaire survey procedure and in-depth interviews, and the sampling is census which comes from 167 employees in substations of Taoyuan county, Hsinchu county and Hsinchu. We send 167 questionnaires, and the response questionnaires are 152, which represents the response rates is 91%. The result shows that there is significant relationship between job satisfaction and job retention, and the influence effect of job achievement, rewards and job support are high. Besides, the influence effect educational background of employees and people of their families on job satisfaction and job retention are great. Thus managers of Taiwan Power Company should promote job satisfaction, and the basic managers should take different management to employees, ant it is helpful to promote job satisfaction and job retention.
