On top of that, this study also discussed the reasons, such as salary and working shift, affecting the choices of different divisions, and then analyzed the difference among medical personnel in different divisions. This study utilized questionnaire to collect data, it was conducted at a hospital in Hsinchu area with 151 valid samples. After acquiring the data, this study analyzed the data with descriptive statistic, Chis-square test, and one–way ANOVA. The result showed, on average, the quality of workload was slightly higher than the quantity of workload. Besides, for the daily workload, lack of time to complete the job appears as the main problem. For the personality traits, friendly and conscientious were the highest dimensions. On the other hand, the stability of sentiment was the lowest dimension. For the organizational culture, detail-oriented was the highest dimension, and result-oriented was the lowest dimension. Furthermore, salary and working shift were important factors for choosing the departments. These research results were important bases for retaining medical personnel.
