It also explores the promoting extent of spiritual health after senior citizens participate in the learning programs. The study purpose bases on the literatures, regards as the foundation to explore the relative researches of the spiritual health in Taiwan and overseas and to design the learning programs which suit for the elderly. The final goal is to lead elders to promote spiritual health. The study method mainly uses the qualitative research methods. The 32 over-55-year-old participants who live in Taipei City attend courses in community elders’ service center. Students take the holistic health approach elders’ learning programs with the intervention of programs for promoting the spiritual health. The researcher, also the program designer and the leader, takes students to learn and have lunch together for an hour once a week during 12 weeks. The study implements, for the qualitative research, mainly are informal interview and observation. It also takes learning feedback sheets and teaching observation analysis during before- middle-after courses process as the analysis information for the influence toward the participants on the spiritual health aspects. The weekly homework “Loho life assignment” is analyzed to explore the learning effects. The study concludes that after the intervention of the spiritual health growth courses in elders’ learning programs of elders’ learning, it helps the elderly to realize the relation and sensation as well in four accepts of the spiritual health grow:self to self, self to others, self to the nature and self to the God. It also helps senior citizen to be aware of the co-existence between nature and human beings. They can live out the great meaning of their lives. They can integrate and manage individual holistic health, as well as promote the quality of life and happiness for the elderly.
