Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 室內設計研究所 === 102 === This research aimed to explore the design of duty-free shops in offshore islands, to understand its history and current status, shops setting and space theory through data collection regarding relevant cases of duty-free shops in domestic offshore islands and general duty-free shops as well as to obtain a reference for planning and design through data collection and case studies. It took a long time to finish the physical design planning and construction. The main study scope of the design was Peng Fang Duty-free Shops located in the visitor center and ticket office of Green Island, the port and the airport picking-up area, with the total area being 2 floors and 1815㎡. This research aimed to achieve the following purposes through the design of duty-free shops in offshore islands. First, to understand the development background of setting duty-free shops in offshore islands. Second, to integrate the goods cabinet of different types in the same space. Third, to provide qualified basically spatial and functional data of duty-free shops in offshore islands as reference for future use. Fourth, to learn display cabinet’s function and space requirements of setting duty-free shops in offshore islands. By relevant case studies, the study had understood the design theme, spatial composition and commodity structure of duty-free shops in offshore islands and obtained a reference for spatial planning, then Green’s local cultural background and brand spirit were treated as the design theme with the combination of exhibition space and various display cabinets designed according to different types of merchandise. Fitting regulations and space requirements of setting duty-free shops in offshore islands are summarized based on relevant act analysis and case studies on duty-free shops in offshore islands.
