It is easy to evaporate and be inhaled at room temperature, furthermore it, has been identified as a human carcinogen. In this study we synthesized titanium dioxide / polyaniline composites. The composite was tested to evaluate the formaldehyde removal with or without the UV. The results showed that the chromaticity removal rate of methylene blue by titanium dioxide / polyaniline composites with UV was over 99% for 120 minutes. Without UV light, polyaniline has the highest removal rate of 85.4%, however, it was only 52.5% for the complex T/P 1(titanium dioxide / polyaniline proportion = 1).
