The study aims to provide empirical data for industries and schools with industry-academy cooperation projects to increase students’ participating willingness and improve the educational quality of industry-academy cooperation projects. Data were collected by a quantitative survey with questionnaires from Grade-one and Grade-two hospitality-major students at vocational high schools. The study was conducted at a vocational high school in central Taiwan on April 11 in 2014 and then total 595 pcs of valid questionnaires were collected. The results indicated that most of participants were Grade-one female hospitality-major students without part-time working experiences. Most of students’ parents graduated from senior high or vocational schools working in Service industry. Learning motivation and willingness to participation reaches a medium level. Work value reaches a medium-high level. The divergence of learning motivation and work value on willingness to participation exists according to interviewees’ gender, major, grade, working experience, parents’ education, and parents’ occupation. After multiple regression analysis, learning motivation and work value positively influenced willingness to participation; moreover, learning motivation more strongly influenced willingness to participation than work value did.
