Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 休閒事業管理學系碩士班 === 102 === This study aims to explore the relationship of the backgrounds of junior high school teachers in Taichung City, off-campus teaching preparation, the destination consideration factors and the destination choice. With questionnaire survey as research method and homeroom teachers from 17 municipal junior high schools in Taichung City as study objectives, a total of 298 questionnaires were issued and 289 recycled , among which 268 copies were valid and 21 were invalid. The recovery rate was 93%.The data obtained were then analyzed by statistical methods such as Descriptive Statistics, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Chi-square, Person’s Correlation Analysis, Multiple Stepwise Regression Analysis, Logistic Regression Analysis, etc. The conclusions are as follows: It was found out that the “theme park” is given first priority to be chosen as destination for the most recent off-campus teaching, followed by scenic spot, zoological and botanical garden, socialist education organization and leisure farm. The teachers perform well in off-campus teaching preparation and the destination consideration factors, and “education before departure” is paid great attention to in terms of the former aspects, while “safety” is given top priority in the later aspects. In terms of off-campus teaching preparation and its scales, there are differences in genders, school scales and teachers of different school locations. As for the destination consideration factors and its scales, there are differences in school scales and locations. For the teacher backgrounds on the destination choice of off-campus teaching, there are differences in genders, teaching seniorities, school scales and school locations. As for off-campus teaching preparation, the “teaching design” has the most predictive power on the consideration of “resource level”, while that on the consideration of “safety” and “the cost of time and money” is “education before departure”. In the Logistic Regression Analysis, the off-campus teaching preparation and consideration factors of destination can effectively explain and predict the teachers’ “check” and “uncheck” items in scenic spots, theme parks, zoological (botanical) park, private units as well as government agencies. Finally, according to the research results, several suggestions are proposed to serve as references for junior high school off-campus teaching in Taichung City and further research in the future.
