Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 運輸科技與管理學系 === 102 === The overuse of fossil fuel has a great impact on climate change and global warming in recent year. To improve the situation, countries around the world are devoted to develop all kinds of technology that is able to effectively reduce carbon dioxides, and the green environment becomes a new trend. The motive of adjusting the industrial structure of our country as well as responding the tendency of the world, the Executive Yuan of Taiwan R.O.C has chosen green energy resources as one of the six major advantage industries in 2009. Not only does the government puts more energy in environmental industries, but also encourages common civils to invest more money in order to expand the scale of the industry and increase the value added of the property. Developing eco-friendly public transportation is one of the most important goals. The government is making a great effort to popularize the usage of public transportation. A friendly and convenient system is to attract the people to travel by public transportation. At the meantime, the development of the electric cell technology becomes a symbol of the practicality of electrical bus, since it provides a more steady power resource. The electrical bus is a cleaner and an eco-friendly public transportation, which can effectively reduce the environmental pollution. In addition, while Taiwan is transiting to an aging society, electrical and low floor bus is more comfortable and safer for elders and disabled passengers. Nevertheless, while the oil price rises, the managers of public transportation are forced to pay more for buying diesel vehicles. Some of the managers start to invest the electrical buses for demonstration projects, expecting that the higher-effect ratio characteristic and the simplified of the mechanical system that the electrical bus owns can decrease the managing prime costs. However, the related projects of the commercial electrical buses are limited since they are not mature. This study focuses on the electrical buses that are now serving in Taiwan. Additionally, through the literature reviews and the depth interview with the developers, the users and the managers of the electrical bus give an idea of the actual operation condition. At the end, this study sums up all the factors and gives out effective suggestions for management of electrical buses.
