Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 經營管理碩士在職專班 === 102 === Recently, the TFT-LCD industry is facing the challenges on the technology competition from Korea and the rapid development of local brand in Mainland, therefore, the superiority of Taiwan in TFT-LCD industry is outflowing. In the past, the main suppliers of display were continuously competing with each others from one generation to another, such as from G3.5 to G7.5 and G8. In order to expand the production and monopoly the special size market, the Japanese company Sharp even built a G10 factory in OSAKA for the LCD industry which is the only one LCD factory in the world. With more and more factories competing with, the production ability has been also increased quickly. However, the competition of this expensive LCD industry will only burden the display suppliers. In order to break this situation, Taiwan is now making good use of different culture, such as devoting some huge size LCD displays production into the factories at present. In order to help it adapt into the large size LCD display market, bonding exposure method is must to be used for the exposure process. However, this technology will still lead to another problem in the production. This study focuses on the problem that the company is dealing with. Using DMAIC methods of Lean Six Sigma can improve the production process. Besides, this research may also be able to find out the main factor affecting the quality in the production. By the compensation of the mask and the substrate temperature as well as changing the total pitch of the black matrix, the products of the defective rate was decreased from 19.78% to below 3%. Eventually, using the check list, SPC and the meeting we hold, etc., we can manage the production of the production line, leading to avoid recurrence. Its annual benefit up to nearly 43 million leads to derive much benefit of the company operations and increase the competitiveness between each others. In fact, it is really a successful project by means of Lean Six Sigma.
