It derives quite a number of educational issues. Furthermore, the enrollment quota of national schools increases year by year. It leads to the enrollment dilemma and harder to operate for private schools. The only way to overcome these situations is to run the school more carefully, enhance the brand value and raise the visibility. For the reasons mentioned above, the topic of this research is to assess the running performance between the various departments in institute of technology and university of science and technology. In this way, we can serve improvement advices for school management. Let the administrators of school understand how to make the usage of resources more effectively and then improve competitiveness for each department. This study use Grey generating method. Under the actual situation, we analyze the data without distortion to improve the visibility of data. By use of data of each department from some institute of technology in 102 academic year, we do the measurement between the discrete sequences by use of grey correlation. It can evaluate the running performance for each department in this school case. The results show that the performance of comprehensive accomplishments for each department. J-department gets the best score.
