This thesis is written on the base of my practice as the investigator subjectivity. I use anthropological field method to record my ( and a team of colleagues’ ) work, and reflect on practice experiences with action research method, and doing dialogue with the theoretical resource that related to the theme of what I concern in my praxis road. In the long journey of my participation in the work of social movements, in which the LUDI fifteen years on the job, I am most concerned about is still a question of social change. Do I acknowledge that my working in LUDI is kind of social movement? If yes, then what kind of social movement it is? I encountered with the students who come and go in my daily work in Ludi. Because of the vision of co-development, I have the profound exchange of life with the students. I therefore have the opportunity to realize that the joy in their learning activity reflect actually the energy of re-developing their lives which stored deeply in their body. They take the initiative to use the adult school as a chance to regain the opportunities of developing their lives which was blocked because of the economic reason in their young age. As to them, such a group of middle-aged people, the most important meaning is the cultural development, that is, by learning they let themselves to develop to become the different persons. During the process of my work in Ludi and eventually develop what I understood like above, the status of my personal life has also undergone tremendous changes. When I was writing this thesis, I make the connection between the change of my life , and what I was always urgent and anxious to seek for the way out of my adult learning practice in Ludi. What I kept suffered from like panic, anxiety and depress looked like the “symptoms” which indicates the personal spiritual state, but in fact they are the emotional expression when I, as the carrier of my personal life and at the same time the development of my praxis, kept facing the difficulties of development. My healing process led me to have a more profound understanding about “development”, and let me see how Ludi’s learning activities have healing effect on students and liberation occurred. On the dialogue of theory resource, this paper draws heavily on the theory of “Social Therapy” which was founded by the Fred Newman and Lois Holzman. Social Therapy as the marriage of Post-modernism and Marxism, retains a vantage vision of Marxism liberation, but not dogmatically self-limited to take class struggle as the only way of the revolutionary. Social Therapy gains the multivariate and the sense of liberation, but not got lost in the nothingness in the solid revolutionary practice. Social Therapy’s vantage of view reveals the rich reference for the Ludi’s learning community, especially the revolutionary concepts about learning and development which Social Therapy Inherited from Lev Vygotsky. They are very helpful for me to understand how Ludi’s adult learning leads the comprehensive therapeutic effect to the adult learners. Hsia, Lin Chin 夏林清 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 189 zh-TW
