The Military Revolution proposed a brand new idea that it departed from studying the different wars itself to emphasis the impact from changes in the military ideas and technologies to how these changes affected societies and countries. Michael Roberts (1908-1996) first proposed this idea of Military Revolution in the year of 1955. He believed that the Early Modern European revolution in tactics not only changed how the war was run tactically, strategically, logistically, and technically; it also had a great impact on European societies and nations. Historians and scholars had been studying and discussing the topic of Military Revolution from various angles since the idea was first proposed. Historians and Scholars had been studying Military Revolution by focusing through aspects of Early Modern European Military Changes such as the introduction of cannons, firearms, Trace-Italianne, and expansion of military organizations. Expansion of military organizations specifically was the main topic that connected all of the aspects mentioned above. The study of expanding military organization gave rise to three different associated topics: Revolution in Military Tactics, Trace-Italianne, and Early Modern European Political Reform and Social Changes. These three topics were of paramount importance in the study of Military Revolution. The goal of this thesis was to examine how Early Modern European Military Revolution impacted contemporary European nations and societies through the reason behind this expansion in military organization, how military organization expanded, and its influences.
