The case of the China Times、 United Daily news and Liberty Times 2011
ABSTRACT
This study focuses on the news frames of the twelve-years compulsory ducatiion. Three hundred eighteen relevant news stories from China Times, United Daily news,and Liberty Times, date from January 2011 to Decembe 2011 ,were collected via the newspaper web databases. This research uses content analysis to analyze the news frames of these three newspapers and the social realities they wanted to construct. The results inicated that news framed in a prestigious high school、adimission requirements、negative feedback or explanation were the most frame tyep.
The results shows that United Daily News and China Times presented similar news frames, the Liberty Times was very different from the other two ones.
