Summary:碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 企業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 102 === This research is to inquire into the circumstances and the impact of job stress on organizational commitment and job satisfaction of elementary school teachers. This study adopted survey method and the questionnaires were mailed to 280 elementary school teachers in southern district of Taoyuan county. The valid return rate was 88.21% and the sample was consisted of 247 teachers. The questionnaires were constructed into three scales: teachers’ job stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The statistical procedures used in this study were t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation, principal factor analysis, multiple regression analysis . The results were as the following: 1. The elementary school teachers’ job stress was below the mid-point of survey scale. Their job satisfaction and organizational commitment were above the mid-point. 2. Job stress influence organizational commitment significantly. 3. Job stress influence job satisfaction significantly.
