In order to explore different region of essential oils, we selected different extracted position, methods and composition from Austria. We have extended our studies by analyzing the antioxidant activities and the major chemical components of an additional Thirty-six kinds of essential oils those were used in cosmetic from Austria company. In the total phenolic contents (TPC), trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC), DPPH free-radical scavenging assay (DFRS), reducing power (RP) and hydroxyl radical scavenging assay (HR), Clove bud essential oil was the best among these essential oils and the major chemical component was Eugenol. In the β-carotent bleaching assays (BCB), Bergamot essential oil was the best among these essential oils and the major chemical component was Limonene. In the metal chelating activity (MC), Orange sweet essential oils was the best among these essential oils and the major chemical components was Limonene. In the disk-diffusion method (DDM), Rose otto essential oil was the best completely inhibited Escherichia coli among these essential oils and the DDM was 12.67 mm. Patchouli essential oil was the best completely inhibited Staphylococcus aureus among these oils and the DDM was 14 mm. Clove bud and Thyme linalool essential oil were the best completely inhibited Pseudmonas aeruginosa among these essential oils and the DDM were both 11.67 mm. Clove bud oil was the best completely inhibited Candida albicans among these essential oils and the DDM was 13.67 mm. It is clearly that the TPC, TEAC, DFRS, RP, and HR assays with relations and the phenolic compounds in essential oils attributed a positive correlation with antioxidant and antimicrobial.
