With injection and swallowing, the dosage of drug goes into the body are exact. However, while inhaling, procedure and consequence are more complicated. Although the quantity of each dosage of a medical spray is supposed to be the same, the effective dosage and distribution of atomized meter dose inhaler into airway are largely based on the inhaling speed and inhaling/spraying time relationship. At present, doctors can’t grasp the real situation about how the patients are really doing in this matter. Incorrect inhaling will largely affect treating efficiency, lower patient/doctor/pharmacist compliance, and waste of medical resources. This study investigated the“Intelligent Inhaler”, tracheal suction effect of the distribution of the body, confirmed inspiratory time and traffic, do it yourself custom made lab equipment to simulate human inhale inhalation action. More importantly, with the help of laser reflection; the flow of atomized meter dose inhaler in the breathing process has been carefully analyzed in slow motion. Based on the dynamic information of inhaling action; based on principle of fluid mechanics and expertise from pulmonist, optimum spraying time has been suggested.
