Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 化學工程與材料工程系博碩士班 === 102 === Adopting an effective natural plant extracts as the nourishing and adjusting dew of scalp can stimulate the hair papilla of hair follicle in scalp, and thus promote hair growth. This work aims to compare the hair growth efficiency of three natural plant extracts, including Thuja orientalis, Polygonum multiflorum Thunb., and Laminaria Digitata . First, the shaved backs of the mice (C57BL/6JNarl) were continuously smeared with plant extracts for four weeks. Then, the hair growth situations were recorded by camera, and the lengths of hairs were measured by Micrometer caliper. The experimental result shows the hair growth rate of 10%-concentration plant extracts from fast to slow was T. orientalis > L.Digitata > P. multiflorum, respectively. In addition, the hair growth rate increased with the concentration of the extracts. For example, in T. orientalis series, the hair growth rate from fast to slow was T-10 > T-1.0 > T-0.1, respectively. In summary, Thuja orientalis extracts with 10% concentration exhibited better hair growth efficiency in this study.
