Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電機工程系博碩士班 === 102 === In recent years, the auto industry is progressing towards Electric Vehicle(EV) in their future car models. Electric Vehicle’s energy is based on connected many cells in series and parallel. Although the battery cells are produced in the same manufacture process, the battery cells voltage imbalances in a battery pack occur due to differences of cell chemical characteristics, operating temperature, number of charge or discharge, speed of charge and discharge and other operating conditions. It would make battery pack decrease the total storage capacity and the whole life cycle of the battery. Therefore non-dissipative battery equalizers have been presented in many papers. However these architecture still exist some problems like complex control, difficult to make modularization, high costs and worst of balance efficiency. In order to improve these problems, this project develop two kinds of active equalizer architecture. It use theory of flyback converter and buck-boost converter and, moreover use battery packs of different characteristics to do the experiment of charge and discharge. The experiment result shows the ability of the battery cell balance and also analysis active equalizer circuit.
