Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電機工程系博碩士班 === 102 === Since the twenty-first century, accompanied with exacerbating greenhouse effect and raising energy price, energy conservation and carbon emission reduction became a trend all over the world. Thus, many countries have begun to make an effort to promote energy-saving products in order to achieve the goal of reducing carbon emissions, and many companies also introduced energy-saving solutions for cutting down operating energy costs to increase profits. In addition, people began to consider the performance in energy-saving as an important determinant while consuming. This study wants to develop a multi-function air cleaner which utilizes highly energy-efficient brushless DC motor for the purpose of energy-saving. Through the free speed-shifting ability of the mortar combined with gas sensor, the air cleaner can automatically change air filtration fraction according to local indoor air quality. It makes the air cleaner not only a energy-saving product but also a smart home appliance.
