In order to reduce the power consumption of the control branch in the driver circuit, the current amount flowing in the control part is decided by the LED’s working in turn-on or turn-off. The proposed circuit can control branch current effectively. Silicon Controlled Rectifier controls LED’s turning on, while using Optical Coupler to change the controlled branch’s equivalent resistance and reduce the branch element’s power consumption.
