Most old buildings in Taiwan, which were built before 2000’s, did not meet the standard of ecological environment and green building requirement. Most of them have energy consuming problem. If the outer-widows can improve in heat insulation to reduce air-conditioning energy consumption, it would be a great help for the carbon reduction of building. In this study, test was done under the unique sunshine hot weather in southern Taiwan. A small scalar frame was used to study the heat transfer from outer window materials, such as clear glass, insulated glasses, and window films. Heat-fluxes were measured in east and west orientation windows with different widow materials under variety opening rates. Experiment analysis show that: (1) All materials have good heat proof efficiency when compare that to the clear glass. Window film with SC=0.36 and U=0.97 properties has the best heat proof efficiency. (2)With economic analysis in different orientation experiment, attach widow films to clear glass is better than change clear glass to insulated glasses. And widow film with SC=0.42 and U=1 properties is the best choice. Huang,Wen-Ling 黃文玲 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 173 zh-TW
