Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 土木工程與防災科技研究所 === 102 === The slope disasters become one of the common disasters in Taiwan probably due to high density development. In 2009, typhoon Morakot attacked Taiwan and caused a lot of severe damages in Kaohsiung Liugui area, Jiasian area, Namasia area and Taoyuan area. In this study, we used a model test in the laboratory based on the different parameters such as different water high, slope angle and unit weight of dry soil slope, in addition measures the total head, moisture content and flows quantities. After performing a series of tests by using a 50×30×41cm model tests, it is found that there are seven failure modes. The landslide happened if water content exceeded 20%. We can also find that the overburden pressure of the soil will hinder internal osmotic water pressure then decrease the large-scale destruction. As for the rising speed of pressure head height, they depend on soil dry unit weight overburden pressure.
