Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士在職專班 === 102 === In today’s industries, the work locations of employees may be scattered, such as in the service industry. Take 24-hour chain convenience stores for example, employees are stationed in different stores and may work in different shifts. In the manufacturing industry, employees may be dispatched to work at the clients’ sites for technical support. In those situations, the work time of employees may vary, and some employees even work at sites where no supervisors are present. Hence, it is difficult to track the attendance and absence of employees by using the clock card machine. In Taiwan, labor dispatching accounts for a large proportion of manpower, and the turnover rate of dispatched workers is relatively high. It is thus difficult for supervisors to track the attendance of the workers, and fraud in punching the time cards may occur, thus causing excessive overtime labor cost. In the past, the supervisors use clock card machines to determine the punctuality of the employees. However, as the company expands and the number of employees on different shifts increases, the punch card system may not be able to solve the complex attendance problems of the employees. This study proposed an ID-CAM system, which combines RFID sensing card and IP-Camera to record the employee attendance data quickly and effectively. The IP Camera can capture the image of the employee punching the card and send it to the backend database. According to the shifts, attendance, and overtime information of the work attendance system, the supervisors can learn the attendance of the employees and schedule the shift according to the displayed information at any time. The proposed system can effective save labor costs without the risk of reproduction of the punching cards. In addition, it can effectively avoid the fraud of punching cards and keep track of the attendance records.
