The total samples were 139 from four classes. Class A received Central Route(teaching) and Peripheral Route(posters), Class B received Central Route only, group D received posters only, whereas Class C received nothing. The teaching lasted for 2 weeks, and the posters in the classroom for 3 weeks. These classes had the pretest and the posttest before and after experimentation.“Achievement test on Safety of Food utensils”, and “Questionnaire of Attitudes on Safety of Food utensils” were used as the instruments of this study. Statistical analysis was concluded as follows: (1) Central Route (teaching) and Peripheral Route(posters) enhanced much more students’ perception in safety education of Food utensils; (2) Compared with Peripheral Route(posters), Central Route(teaching) improved more students’ perception in safety education of Food utensils; (3) Central Route (teaching) and Peripheral Route(posters) simultaneously improved the most students’ perception in safety education of Food utensils; (4) Interaction effects of Central Route(teaching) and Peripheral Route (posters) was not found on students’ perception in safety education of Food utensils; (5)Central Route(teaching) , Peripheral Route(posters) and Central Route (teaching) and Peripheral Route(posters) simultaneously all can have positive effect on students’ attitude towards safety education of Food utensils. Based on the results mentioned above, some suggestions were proposed to school administrators.
