Summary:碩士 === 康寧大學 === 國際企業管理研究所 === 102 === This thesis aims to examine the correlation of social support, attitudes toward work and job performance among elementary school teachers in Tainan City.This study is conducted by means of purposive sampling, with 500 questionnaires distributed. 415 valid questionnaires were collected and the response rate was 88.6%. Statistical methods such as Descriptive Statistics, One-Sample T Test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and Simple regression analysis are then employed to analyze the collected data. Research findings showed that: 1. One the whole, the level of social support of elementary school teachers in Tainan City is higher-intermediate. 2. One the whole, the level of attitudes toward work of elementary school teachers in Tainan City is higher-intermediate. 3. One the whole, the level of job performance of elementary school teachers in Tainan City is higher-intermediate. 4. In terms of social support, there is a distinct difference among elementary school teachers in Tainan City who differ in “age” and “years of teaching experience”. 5. In terms of attitudes toward work, there is a distinct difference among elementary school teachers in Tainan City who differ in “age,”, “gender”, “highest education”, and “years of teaching experience”. 6. In terms of job performance , there is a distinct difference among elementary school teachers in Tainan City who differ in “age,”, “gender”, “highest education”, and “position held at school”. 7. The social support of elementary school teachers reveals a positive effect on job performance. 8. The attitudes toward work of elementary school teachers reveal a positive effect on job performance.
