description 碩士 === 美和科技大學 === 健康照護研究所 === 102 === ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the level of osteoporosis knowledge, attitude and behavior among two group’s osteoporosis’s patients who had got femoral neck fracture and without fracture. In addition, this study will examine perceived susceptibility, severity, benefits, barriers and self-efficacy related to knowledge, attitude and behaviors. Objectives: 1/ Exploring to demographic characteristics all of patients had osteoporosis in Cho ray hospital in southern Viet Nam in 2012 -2013. 2/ asking to participate in the study the Osteoporosis Knowledge Test and Osteoporosis Preventing Behaviors Survey were utilized. Correlations were used to determine the degree of relationship between variables. 3/ after determining which independent variables were significant, a multiple regression was completed to determine prediction. Participants did not perceive themselves as susceptible to osteoporosis and perceived minimal barriers to life style. Their knowledge was minimal concerning attitude, behaviors and less traditional forms of physical activity. Research methodology Cross-sectional descriptive study, data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 statistical software and Microsoft Excel 2010. This is a cross-sectional descriptive study to determine the prevalence of osteoporosis in the general population. In the year of 2012-2013, 616 patients at the ages between 40 – 80 (99 men and 517 women) and ( 356 of them had femoral neck fractures and 260 of them had no fracture) came to CR hospital to do the health check by using dual energy X- ray absortiometry (DEXA) method. Resulting 240 (77, 2%) response rates had gold standards such as: Group 1(G1) A response rate of 78.4% % was obtained. This study included 356 men and women who attended a course in Cho Ray hospital during 2012-2013, the questionnaire was given to 153 patients had made osteoporosis femoral neck fracture. However, 33 were eliminated due to incompletion of questions. The majority of the sample were over eighty years of age 39 (32.5%), and the study sample was comprised of more female 105(87.5%) Group 2(G2) A response rate of 79.4% % was obtained. This study included 260 men and women who attended a course in Cho Ray hospital during 2013, the questionnaire was given to 151 patients had made osteoporosis no fracture. However, 31 were eliminated due to incompletion of questions. The majority of the sample were age fifty-one to sixty years of age (21 = 17.5%), and the study sample was comprised of more female (113= 94.2%) The result of research: The analysis and comparison of risk factors and knowledge attitude behavior osteoporosis between two groups fracture osteoporosis and osteoporosis no fracture. Resulting trust Data analysis resulted in 240 samples had gold standards grouped into two domains: osteoporosis femoral neck fracture and osteoporosis no fracture. The findings in this study on knowledge and risk factors of patients had osteoporosis provide a background, a reasonable confidence in conclusions, and a positive evaluation of osteoporosis of patients in Vietnam. To achieve these goals requires focus on test knowledge of osteoporosis, practicing, and training. Aimed to prepare knowledge of osteoporosis and self-service capabilities of Vietnamese. Changing the behaviors in Vietnamese community settings relevant to patients requires strong commitments from the authorities, and the top managers. Conclusion: This research has helped to expose the particular issues that are significant in the author’s specific context. This study is focusing and guidance to know how to prevent osteoporosis method and fracture again to community in Vietnam Keywords: Osteoporosis, femoral neck fracture, recurrent fractures, knowledge, attitude, behaviors prevention, HOLOGIC QDR 4500W, DEXA method
