In recent years, the rapid growth of the global economy closely increases the cooperation between countries. Taiwan has become Vietnam's largest investment country, hence the requirement of large numbers of human resources and the need of nurturing talents are both important for Vietnam. Moreover, the previous studies have indicated that our education has changed due to the globalization. By encouraging people to study abroad, it can broaden their horizon, obtain new knowledge, learn diversity of cultures, and enhance their competitiveness in the future job market and other factors. Although people’s motivation and need are different, almost all of them eager to achieve self-fulfillment and self-realization. Therefore, the main subject in this study focuses on exploring Vietnamese students’ studying experiences in Taiwan. This study used qualitative research method. In order to facilitate sample analysis, there were twelve Vietnamese students who studying in Ming Hsin University of Science and Technology in Taiwan with more than one academic year studying abroad experience. The data was collected and analized by Zaltman metaphor elicitation technique. The final result of this study indicated that Vietnames students value the quality of education, life and service, high-tech feature and culture beyond all the other factors. All these key factors can be generated from a national image.
