Description
Summary:碩士 === 明志科技大學 === 化學工程系碩士班 === 102 === Hydrogen is the best choice of the green energy because it has high energy density and is friendly to surroundings. In this study, we used ITO-PET as a conductivity substrate, and then fabricated a thin film of titanium dioxide with or without silicon carbonate. Before the film coating, the size of the titanium dioxide and silicon carbonate was measured using DLS, and then the coated film was analyzed via SEM、EDS、XRD and AFM. Then a electrical voltage was applied to the film to analyze the photoelectrochemical reaction on the film. Finally, the Hydrogen production efficiency was investigated. The main Hydrogen production efficiency is based on Benchmark efficiency. As a result, we found that the best Benchmark efficiency about 0.681% could be obtained from the titanium dioxide film with doping 1/5 silicon carbonate under the UV light and 4 V applied voltage in 0.25 M sodium sulfate solution.
