碩士 === 明志科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計研究所 === 102 === Animal is a necessary category in the animation character. Animal character makes the animation more surprise and attractive. This study aims to interpret how animal characters in the animation created with design, and analyze the types, features, and performance of the animal characters in the animation. Based on those aspects in collected references of character design, subjects form established to progress comprehensive research on the character of the relevant animation. In the final research step, integrating analysis results of this study as reference guidelines of the animal characters design associated with the animation. The major subjects of this study include: 1) In bodily structure, using bodily and identity feature change the structure; 2) In decorations, dress up the body shape then add anthropomorphism, or other props; 3) Make facial expression more anthropomorphism, and exaggerate lips; 4) The way of speak coordinates the personality and the emotions; 5) Behavior combines with habits and identity feature; and 6) Perform special habit in animal behavior, identity and personality.
