Proper design in evacuation exit may help with speedily withdrawing from unfriendly area. For the exit design, a particle swarm simulation is used to model escaping behavior of human being. This is to provide sufficient information of an exiting route for use. The feasibility of such approach is studied herein. The results show that the particle swarm simulation is an economical method and a valid way in evacuating design.
