Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 化學系所 === 102 === Ganglioside Hp-s1 1, which was isolated from the ovary of sea urchin Diadema setosum, displays great neuritogenic activity. It is difficut to get enough quantity for research from nature. Hence, the total synthsis of ganglioside Hp-s1 1 and its phytosphingosine modified analogues is the goal of this thesis. Staring with D-lyxose, glucose and sialic acid furnishes three desired building blocks. After two glycosylation reactions that affod an αβ-linked disaccharide, amidization and global deprotection, ganglioside Hp-s1 1 and its derivative were obtained.
