Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 102 === With the generalization of education and the development in medical technology, population ageing has become a global issue. In 1993, Taiwan entered the ageing society officially. For the elderly people, they have certain demands and expectations for recreational acitivites. However, current recreational facilities installed by both the government and private sectors are designed for school children, adolescents, or adults. Hardly any of these recreational facilities are suitable for elderly people. It is very important to provide and promote recreational activities suitable for elderly people. Regarding the promotion and development of recreational facilities for elderly people, we need to understand the recreational activities that are actually demanded by them. In this study, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) are employed to examine the correlation analysis of the demands of recreational facilities, the participation in recreational activities, and leisure obstacles regarding the elderly people. The individual model fits and overall model fits in this research are complied with model evaluation index, with both convergent validity and discriminant validity fit into the standard mode. This research has excellent validity and reliability. Analyzed with regression analysis in SEM, it is discovered that there is positive influence of the demand of recreational facilities on the participation of reactional activities regarding elderly people. In this research, it is discovered that a majority of elderly people prefer to participate in static recreational activities but they have certain demand for dynamic recreational activities. It indicates that there are insufficient dynamic recreational facilities for the elderly people in Taiwan.
