In this study, an adapted dummy sub-system injury assessment method based on the regulation of EEVC (European Enhanced Vehicle-Safety Committee) is proposed simulate and evaluate the injuries of pedestrians. This study will analysis the TRL legform model and found the shortcoming of manufacturing to reality. Propose a new design legform model with following the EEVC lower legform regulation. This new design can be manufactured easily and less component. In addition, this study design the ankle joint and foot that can be combined with the new legform, let the physical legform can measure lower extremities injuries to pedestrians and motorcycle riders. The CAD software and finite element method software can help the design process, analysis the deformation of knee ligament and shearing displacement spring, and come out new design that can conform with the regulation of EEVC legform. After manufacture all the component and assembling, follow the procedure of EEVC lower legform certification test and approved this new physical legform conform with EEVC lower legform regulations.
