Such as gauze, cotton balls, etc. Advanced wound dressing seems to have become a priority in today's wound dressings. By materials, dressings can be classified into, conventional gauze, transparent film, foam, gel, hydrogel, hydrocolloid, alginate, collagen, biological dressings, silver dressings, etc. In accordance with the functionality, dressings may be divided into four categories, 1. Moist wound dressing 2. Anti-microbial dressing 3. Active therapy wound dressing 4. Negative
pressure therapy would dressing.
With this research and the development experience of leading nations in technology, there will be the possibility to draw up a plan for the development strategies in Taiwan’s market. Patent is the most important. In addition, industry alliance will help to expand the scale of investment, which might be the key to enter the international medical market. In the new applications, the target will be accelerating the application of merchandise. With the strength of the high technology environment in Taiwan, seize the opportunity to create international business leads. In long-term planning, main goal will be enhance the professional personnel training in medical appliance industry, then to standardize industry
product specifications.
In response to policies and measures related to medical appliance industry, Taiwanese government’s role in short term will be accelerating the relevant development policies and guidance measures. Moreover, strengthen distributor and consumer’s confidence in related products. In long-term concerned, continue the plan of personnel training. Various aspects of training professionals will
accelerate industrial establishment.
